Will AI make executives obsolete?

If your whole job is forwarding metrics, approving what a model already recommended, and nodding along in meetings, you’re already replaceable <••> you just haven’t been told yet. But if your job is standing behind a hard, unpopular call with your own name attached to the consequences, no machine touches that. The executives who disappear first won’t be replaced by AI directly. They’ll be replaced by someone next to them who actually used it to think harder, not less.
