What’s the actual point of building advanced technology in the first place?

The point was never to build something that thinks for you. The point is to clear enough noise and fragmented data out of your way that you can think better, faster, and still own the call at the end of it. Every time I see a company treat their AI system as a co equal decision maker instead of a tool for clarity, I know they’ve already quietly surrendered something they’ll miss later. Technology should hand you the full picture. It should never hand you the decision itself.
