Is AI going to kill human creativity?
Author Answer:
It will flood the internet with competent, forgettable noise at a scale we haven’t seen before, and a lot of people will mistake that volume for progress. But it can’t replicate the thing that actually makes creative work matter <••> the fact that someone had something real at stake when they made it. A model has never lost sleep over a decision, never risked their name on an idea, never had to sit with the consequence of being wrong in public. That’s not a technical limitation. It’s a permanent one.
Built, not born.
