At what point does my phone know me better than my mother does?

Author Answer:

The moment you gave it location access, camera access, contact access, and your darkest 2am search history. Your mother knows who you were raised to be. Your phone knows who you actually are when nobody is watching and nothing is filtered. It knows which messages you read and deliberately did not reply to. It knows where you said you were and where you actually went. It knows what you searched and immediately deleted hoping no one would see. We handed all of that over by pressing "allow" without reading a single thing. Built the most accurate portrait of ourselves ever assembled. Gave it to a rectangle. On a payment plan.
Built, not born.
